What Charj is
Charj is a free, open-source mobile application that displays information about electric-vehicle charging stations in Tunisia. Charger data is sourced from Open Charge Map under a CC-BY-SA license and augmented by community submissions.
Use at your own risk
Charger information may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Before driving to a charger: - Verify its existence and operational status by other means when possible - Check connector compatibility with your vehicle - Be aware of operator-specific pricing, payment methods, and access restrictions
Charj is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for: - Chargers that turn out to be broken, occupied, or non-existent - Incorrect connector types or power ratings - Navigation errors or damages resulting from using the app
Community submissions
When you submit a charger or report a problem: - You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and redistribute the submitted content - You confirm you have the right to submit the content (including any photos) - You agree not to submit false, offensive, spammy, or unlawful content
We reserve the right to reject, modify, or remove any submission without notice.
No account, no fees
- Charj does not require an account
- Charj is completely free
- Charj contains no advertising
Open source
Charj is open source under the MIT License. The source code is available at https://github.com/alabenkhlifa/CharJ.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Tunisia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Tunis.
